CAGPO-ACMOO has developed a case-based self-directed learning program tailored to the care of patients with cancer. These cases are meant to be used by physicians working in the role of the General Practitioner in Oncology. By working through these cases, with the aide of a knowledgeable mentor, one will become familiar with the management issues of the various stages of cancer.

The cases were most recently reviewed and revised/updated in 2024.

Promote the role of General Practitioners in Oncology within Cancer Centers and within the primary care setting. Support and encourage the development of educational opportunities for
Family Physicians / General Practitioners wishing to obtain additional training in oncology.

Promouvoir le rôle des omnipraticiens en oncologie dans les centres de traitement
du cancer et dans les milieux de soins primaires. Appuyer et encourager le développement de possibilités éducatives pour les médecins de famille et les omnipraticiens qui désirent obtenir
