REGISTRATION FEES

In accordance with the guidelines governing the organization of CHE, the following fees apply : 

* Members, Non-members and Nurses / Residents / Allied Health / Students registrations' fees include: access to all the Conference sessions and the Exhibition Hall, all meals (3 breakfasts, 2 lunches, 5 coffee breaks), online access to the speakers’ presentations after the Conference. It does not include the Banquet of Friday, September 27.
 
** One day only registration fees include: access to the Conference sessions, to the Exhibition Hall and meals of the selected day and online access to the speakers’ presentations after the Conference. It does not include the Banquet of Friday, September 27, nor any meals or sessions during the rest of the Conference.
 
*** Accompanying persons and children registration fees include: access to the Exhibition Hall, all meals (3 breakfasts, 2 lunches, 5 coffee breaks). It does not include the Banquet of Friday, September 27 nor online access to the speakers’ presentations after the Conference.

CAGPO BURSARIES

Unfortunately, CAGPO will not be able to offer bursaries to attend the 2024 CAGPO Annual Conference.
 

CANCELLATION POLICY

If the organization has to modify the format of the Conference following the effects of the COVID-19 pandemic (e.g. change in programming, converting to a virtual event, capacity limitation, etc.) or the application of government requirements in effect at the time of the Conference, the registration fees will be automatically applied, in whole or in part, to the new format of the event. Refunds, if any, will be made after the event has taken place.
 
If the organization is forced to postpone the event to a later date, you will have the choice between obtaining a full refund of your registration fees or transferring your registration to the new date.
 
Under no circumstances can the organization be held responsible for the reimbursement of ancillary costs incurred by participants for their participation in the Conference (hotel, transport, visa, etc.).
 
Sanitary measures, in accordance with the government requirements in force during the event, will be put in place. Under no circumstances can the organization be held responsible for an outbreak of COVID during the event. Any costs incurred in connection with quarantine or extended stay in Canada because of COVID will be the responsibility of the participant. Consider taking out insurance that can cover an extended stay in Canada due to COVID.

 

REQUESTS

Cancellations requests received by September 1, 2024 will be refunded, less 20% administrative fees. Refunds will be made after the Conference has been held. Cancellations requests received after September 1, 2024 are non-refundable. No refund will be granted to participants who do not show up. Banquet tickets are non-refundable.

Substitution of a participant within the same organization is authorized for an administrative fee of $ 50.

Promote the role of General Practitioners in Oncology within Cancer Centers and within the primary care setting. Support and encourage the development of educational opportunities for
Family Physicians / General Practitioners wishing to obtain additional training in oncology.
